Adaan sat at a table by himself, his hood hiding his face as usual as he raised the mug to his mouth and took a long drink. His eyes surveyed those about him in a curious, slightly interested way and he smiled slightly beneath his hood. So apparently he wasn't the only one who enjoyed a casual drink, he got up and sat down beside a man by the name of Rochindill "This place is indeed beautiful friend. Tell me where do you originally come from?" he queried interestedly and wondered what the man would answer, would he be nervous because of his mysteriousness and his hooded features. He didn't mean any harm, he was a good guy, things just had a habit of shaping themselves around him.

Eryndil gave Ruya a quick loving smile back over the rim of his silver goblet in response to her thoughts of continuing their "conversation" later before he took a sip of his nectar. In the meantime another outsider (Adaan) had entered the tavern and Eryndil turned his full attention to him since this one was fully cloaked and his face hidden. Such attire made Eryndil automatically suspicious for why would one want his identity concealed if they had nothing to hide?

Adaan noticed the other man looking at him (Eryndil) and turned and regarded him. There was a light in Adaan's eyes that showed him to greater than those he walked among. He gave the man a polite nod and regarded him with cool interest, Adaan favoured this mysterious aura as it allowed him to get about the world while staying out of unneccessary situations and avoiding attracting too much attention to himself. He took another sip of his drink and his powerful gaze rested on the man, what was he thinking?

When Eryndil saw the light in the outsider's (Adaan's) eyes he instantly recognized it as the light of a god. So he smiled back at the outsider's polite nod and using his mind voice he thought to the outsider "So what brings a god amongst the Dinaerea?" Now Eryndil asked this question in a purely curious tone and not his usual suspicious one although he was still supicious for even gods can be up to something nefarious...

Adaan smiled as he heard the mind speech in his head and his eyes which shone with a brilliant light were fixed on the man and he replied in his mind I have come here simply to bask in the beauty of this world, to observe how mortals live. He inclined his head slightly in a curious greeting to the man, he was indeed an interesting character and perhaps he would prove to be a suitable companion for him. Adaan took another sip from his glass and placed it down gently on the table as he waited for the man to reply to his words.

"This place is indeed beautiful, I hail from the land of Astalderea and I am of the race of Darthiir, I am glad to meet you" he said as he bowed his head. He thought the man to be very strange yet Rochindill did not question he preferred to answer, as he gazed into the hood he swa a flash of bright eyes that were instantly gone. He wondered what to make of him.

OOC Ghaunadaur: It has come to my attention that your playing a god isn't allowed. If you wish to continue to play your character as an ordinary man then you're most welcome do so. I will give you the opportunity to correct your posts and I will do the same with mine once you've made the necessary changes. If you do not wish to do this then I will delete your posts.

Queen Annaloth decided to come out of the lands of her reign. Now it was true that she would likely not be able to catch a mate here, but that was not her intentions. She merely needed a break from her castle. And here it captured he beauty that she so greatly adored. Her lands of course were beautiful, but she needed a change. Anna had left the girls in the care of her sister, hoping that they would get along with their cousins. Anna decided to make the long journey to the land of the Dinaer by foot. That way she could have more time to herself. Everyone knows Queens do not get much time to themselves, especially when they have two lively children. Anna was no exception. The tall woman, a figure of great beauty, finally arrived at the tavern. It was a place of great beauty, much as she imagined it would be. She looked at brook and knelt by it, letting her thoughts consume her. Her thoughts centered on when she would have another daughter. She loved being a mother, and she wished that she could have one more child. Finally, she stood, and turned to face the people that were in the pub. She removed the hood of her navy cloak and pulled her hair out of it. Her hair was slightly pulled back, and held in place with a silver hair clip. Her long black hair hung down to her waist, resting in curls on her back. Her black eyes and pale skin shone, but she had an air of darkness about her. No matter how much she tried to mask her darkness, it shone through, and it was this darkness that told others she was a Dragon Queen. This darkness was among one of the things that all feared of her. As her gaze lingered on the males in the area, she smiled. But then realizing what she was doing, she stopped. This was not her homeland, she could not be so open with her attentions. At home the women would laugh about men, but here she could do no such thing. Soon her gaze fell on one Verdani. The woman seemed to be of interest. She said to the woman quietly, Hello, forgive me for interrupting, but I must ask, what is your name? I am Anna. May I ask where you come from, as it is clear you are not from the voiceless lands. But then again, neither am I.

Eryndil's attention was drawn to the latest newcomer to the tavern and when he sensed that this dark haired beauty was a Dragon Queen he frowned for he was well aware of their even darker reputation especially when it came to men. But for now Anna as she was calling herself seemed only interested in speaking with Verdani so he would remain silent and tend the bar.

Verdani had fallen silent for a time, gazing into the glass in front of her and idly running her finger along its edges. She did not fail to notice, however, that more and more people entered the tavern, including a number of beings who were obviously not Dinarea. Several had a feeling of power to them, and the woman could not help but wonder what drew them here. Silmataurea was peaceful, without a doubt, but many of them, if she guessed their origins correctly, would have had a very long journey for this peace.
She mentally shrugged, and shifted her blue eyes to Ruya as the woman spoke in her mind. A smile tugged the corner of her lip up at her assessment that she was more powerful than she seemed. "Perhaps, but it is best to not speak of it here." Verdani tried to avoid revealing herself unless it was necessary. It brought all kinds of attention that she did not always want. She was getting an idea of who Ruya was, too, however, and guessed that she and Eryndil were more than they seemed as well. Now, of course, to find a way to broach her topic, and in such a way that no one else would overhear. It was not vital that it remained secret, but she preferred it that way. She inclined her head very slightly when Ruya mentioned returning with her. "That could be arranged, and I am sure that Pilin en-templa's ruler would be glad to receive you."
The Hyandae en'luhta lapsed into silence again, watching a man (Adaan) enter and converse with Eryndil. Rochindil seemed to find Silmataurea beautiful, to which Verdani nodded in silent agreement. She took small sips of her drink, making sure that it really wasn't affecting her in any way. Losing control over herself would be very bad, as she had learned the hard way when she was much younger. Alcohol and magic did not mix well.
She brushed a strand of her black hair behind her ear and glanced toward the door when it opened again. A dark woman (Annaloth) entered, and looked around, studying the men specifically. Verdani gave her a quizzical glance, but turned back to her drink and her own thoughts. She was surprised when, a moment later, the woman approached her and spoke. Verdani smiled politely and replied. "Greetings. You are hardly interrupting. My glass here isn't horribly talkative." She lifted her glass and gave a wry smile. "My name is Verdani, and I am from Pilin en'templa. What brings you to Silmataurea?" She asked curiously, wondering who she was, other than vaguely "Anna." There was a feel of dragon queens about her, but Verdani was not horribly put off by it. There had been visitors of all races to Pilin en'templa at some point, and the Hyandae en'luhta made it a point to stay neutral and on decent terms with all races. Some others despised them for it, but there wasn't much to be done about it.

Anna smiled as she was greeted by the woman. Ahh yes, I fear that I have problems with those untalkative glasses myself. I am glad that I am not the only one they don’t talk to, she said with a delicate laugh. Verdani? That is a lovely name. Pilin en’templa? Don’t they have a ruler by that name? Anna smiled as she asked the question innocently. As for me, I come because I wanted to see some of Silmaturea’s beauty. I fear I don’t get to leave my homeland much. Work and serving my Queen keeps all of my time occupied. And the woman there are so catty. With that, Anna shrugged. I must say, I didn’t quite expect it to be this beautiful. I was beginning to think of home, comparing it to this. After all, we keep our lands quite beautiful ourselves. But this, this is just elegant. Realizing that she had not greeted the pubmaster, she looked his way and smiled. She nodded to him. Then she looked around her and sensed that once again her reputation preceeded her. It seemed that many were uncomfortable with her presence. She merely sat and smiled.

Verdani watched with a politely interested face as Anna replied to her comment about the glasses. The woman had a sense of humor of a kind, in any case. That was always a plus, although it didn't necessarily mean much. When Anna "innocently" asked if Pilin en'templa had a ruler of her name, Verdani smiled serenely. "I think they may, although you can never be completely sure. The Hyandae en'luhta do not like to give away all of their secrets. It took years upon years to amass the knowledge we have, and it would be a pity to give it all out at once, don't you think?"
There was no reason to either confirm or deny her identity, especially when she was not sure of Anna's own identity. Verdani was tempted to reach out with her magic and find out on her own, but, she found that the people who could tell when she did thought it rather rude. Ah well, it was no matter. The woman did not seem dangerous, and Verdani was more than able to protect herself. "Yes," she said, "Silmataurea is beautiful. It is a different kind of beauty than you find in my land."
When Anna mentioned serving the queen, Verdani fought the urge to raise her eyebrows. What was her purpose in mentioning the queen, especially so soon after so casually bringing up that she knew who the ruler of Pilin en'templa was? She began to wonder, but answered in any case. "I have heard how demanding your queen can be. Tell me, do you find her to be so? I have always wanted an insider's perspective." She smiled again, blandly, and kept any further comments to herself, especially about the women of the Chhaya lands. Verdani disliked the oppression of women just as much as any other woman, but turning things in the opposite direction was just plain counterproductive to her. The Hyandae en'luhta were notoriously neutral in everything, and gender roles were no exception.[/color][/i]

Eryndil acknowledged Anna's greeting by nodding back his frown now replaced with an unreadable neutral bartender mask. Then on the pretense of looking for something behind and under the bar he moved closer to where the Dragon Queen and Verdani sat so he could keep tabs on the darker one better.

Anna smiled. Ah I see. I agree. It wouldn’t do to reveal everything all at once. Anna smiled, knowing that they both were hiding their real identities. Not that it really mattered, after all, it probably would do little good if the people found out that their were two kingdom rulers sitting talking together. You know, the Queen says much the same thing. I think she is a bit secretive by nature. But that is merely speculation. Annaloth smiled as Verdani then returned to discussing the beauty of these lands. Yes, it is a different kind of beauty than most lands, I’d say. But my knowledge of other lands is limited mostly to folklore. As I have said, I don’t get out much. If I knew how beautiful this land really was, I probably would have come sooner. Anna looked wistfully at the beauty surrounding her, wishing her land was a little more like this one. Sure the Chhaya Lands were beautiful, as she had made sure they were kept so, but this was like heaven compared to her lands. Her attention was recaptured again as the woman asked about the Queen. In truth, the question shocked the dragon queen. Was it possible that the woman knew who she really was? Well, it probably would be best to answer her question, otherwise she might arouse further suspicion. The Queen? Demanding? Oh, heavens no. She sometimes gives off that impression though. But in reality, she is really the kindest person you will ever meet. You should see her with the children. She has been known to get on her knees and play with them herself. And her daughters, she really loves them. I hear she hates being separated from them. You should come to the Chhaya Lands and meet her. I think she’d like you. Anna smiled and then wondered, What is your opinion on curiosity? Is it a bad thing? I have been known to be rather curious myself, but my mother always told me it was not very ladylike. It seemed that the bartender was in fact very curious about her presence in the pub. He had tried to be discreet by pretending to look for something, but in reality, Anna knew that he was merely spying on her. That seemed almost a disgrace. In her mind, she thought to him, I know what you are doing. If you don’t want me here just say so. If she had been looking at him, she would have shot him a look that could kill. But she merely kept her eyes lowered and frowned. I merely came to enjoy YOUR kingdom’s beauty. I have no destructive power in your kingdom. And yes, I know you know who I am. You reveal my secret, you will regret it.

Now Anna's show of temper and threat didn't bother Eryndil. As a leader he couldn't easily take offense at such displays. "I will take you at your word that you're here to enjoy my kingdom and nothing more so I will leave you alone," he thought back to the Dragon Queen. Then he headed back down the bar so he could wait on some of his people who had come in looking for a drink.
