In the largest of the valleys of Pilin en’templa, the home of the Hyandae en’luhta, the great university sits. It is situated in the center of the valley, surrounded by the city around it. The university is made up of many different buildings, but the tallest tower is where Pilin en’templa’s ruler, Verdani, sits in council. The hall you seek is at the top of the tower, and you must ascend many stairs to reach it.
A heavy door of intricately carved wood greets you at the end of a long and airy corridor, and two guards with spears stand guard. Unless a visitor looks threatening they are permitted to pass. Inside is a lofty hall with windows on all sides. The windows afford breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Most of the light comes from these windows, while a number of lighted globes float by themselves in darker areas. A variety of people are inside talking amongst themselves, or to the woman, Verdani, the ruler of Pilin en’templa, seated under the largest window.
Magic is being worked all around in the hall, and visitors must be careful not to get in the way of any spells. This is a place to ask questions of any sort, or simply to introduce yourself to the mages of Pilin en’templa. This is a fairly loose IC thread. You can speak with Verdani here about anything you would like. Please do not start threads in the kingdom without ruler permission.[/color]

Koreyu stepped lightly between the guards looking up at their impassive faces. He figured they must think him a child for his small stature but he didn't mind. Looking about, he was amazed at all the extravagant colors that filled the rulers meeting hall. Walking slowly he eventually found where Verdani was. She had an aura about her that caused him to know he found the ruler. Stopping just short of her he did the only thing someone of his tiny stature could do to get someones attention. He reached out and tugged at the hem of her dress. Being some 3 feet tall had the occasional disadvantage. We waited for her attention to be brought toward him before he spoke bowing slightly. "Excuse me. My name is Koreyu Risushienu I finally arrived here in my home city that my parents taught me about. I was told I should come see you first of all things before I reintegrate among st my kind." Raising himself again he fidgeted slightly unsure if his words were proper or not.

Verdani looked around the room with expressionless blue eyes. She was trying her hardest not to get annoyed with one of her council members. He was talking at her about something, but she wasn't quite sure what he was trying to say. He was being purposely vague, assuming that she knew what he meant. She turned back to him and raised an eyebrow. "You might as well just come out and say whatever you mean. I have no idea what you're getting at." He stopped talking then, apparently not wanting to say it clearly in front of so many people. Verdani smiled slightly and stood to stretch. "I thought so." Normally she was nicer to the council, but she didn't particularly like this fellow, and everyone knew it.
As she was turning to find someone, she felt a tug at her dress hem and looked down to see who had done it. A child...? She looked down and saw the short figure in front of her. Not a child, but a very short man. With practiced ease she hid her curiosity and confusion and nodded gravely to him. "Greetings, Master Koreyu. My name is Verdani." He probably already knew as much, but it wouldn't be a proper introduction if she didn't say it. "We are glad to see you return to your home." She paused briefly, brushing a strand of black hair behind her ear. "As for reintegrating... That is completely up to you. If you would like to study at the University, however... I can help you learn more about it. Do you have any questions about Pilin en'templa?"

Koreyu looked away unsure. "I am not sure what I would be to learn first. My parents died a long time ago and there is much that I do not know of this nation. I know more of the wild and much of magic, tho most of my knowledge is unorthadox to whch the University is accustomed to I have come to understand. " He nodded with affirmination as he crossed his small hands. "What would you deem the most importance to learn first?
